UCSD Tuolumne Apartments

La Jolla, CA

The Tuolumne Apartments were design by noted San Diego architect Dale Naegle and constructed in 1971. The Muir Campus is historically and architecturally significant not only for its association with the early development of the University, but also as one of the best and most well-preserved clusters of Brutalist architecture in the region. The Tuolumne Apartments consists of nine, five-story residential towers, providing 67 three and four bedroom student apartment units, community lounge spaces, laundry facilities and housing offices.
