David Marshall

AIA, NCARB | Principal, Architect

As President, David is one of the firm’s leaders who helps oversee the business, while tackling some of our larger architectural projects. He has been intimately involved in the assessment, rehabilitation and restoration of many of San Diego’s landmarks including the world-famous Hotel del Coronado, Spreckels Organ Pavilion, Western Metal Supply Co., House of Hospitality and the new International Cottages in Balboa Park.

He is a well-known expert in the field of preservation architecture and has served as Board President of the California Preservation Foundation and was a member of San Diego’s Historical Resources Board for six years. He is currently Chair of the AIA San Diego Preservation Committee and is Board Chair of the Friends of Balboa Park. He authored the book San Diego’s Balboa Park and is frequently showcased in publications on preservation and architecture.
